These days, having only a website to attract new patients just isn’t enough. Your practice must engage with current and prospective patients on their turf. In an age where more than 750 million people are active users on Facebook, and two billion daily video views on YouTube, social networking simply cannot be ignored any longer. There is an enormous opportunity to market and grow your practice with these social networking tools, but it can be daunting to decide just when and where to get started. The incredible potential of these social networking tools was one of the topics of my hands-on presentation at the Invisalign GP Summit last week in Las Vegas.
I also gave another lecture during the doctor general session, telling the story of six prospective Invisalign patients, and the paths they took to find their Invisalign dentist online. Your prospective patients are turning to the Internet to search for information about your practice and the services you offer. In fact, there are 6,870,100 searches globally on Google each month for Invisalign related keywords and phrases. The time is now to dial up your online presence and get found by these prospective patients!
