Today, we thought we would take a little time to answer this commonly asked question because reach is vital to your practice’s social media strategy on Facebook!
To begin, we define reach as the total number of unique Facebook users who see the things you post on your Timeline. Be it a photo, a status update, or a deband video, all content that is published on your Facebook page is broadcast to an audience, and the amount of folks who see this content makes up your reach! However, this number isn’t limited to just the people who simply “like” your page.
In fact, your reach is a combined total of not only the people who like your page and see the post but also some of their own friends in certain cases! For instance, if your likers interacted with your post in anyway, whether it’s through sharing, liking, or commenting, a good amount of their own friends will see your post!
So, what does this mean for your practice? It means that the more patients who like your page interact and talk about your practice via your Facebook posts, the larger your total reach is and, more importantly, how many potential new patients are seeing your practice on Facebook!
As you can see, your reach is really important for your social media campaign, so it is very important that your practice stays diligent in telling your patients to connect with you on Facebook!
