Seattle, Washington–August 2, 2010–Sesame Communications, a dental industry pioneer in online patient connection systems, announced today that Diana P. Friedman, MA, MBA has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer. Diana is a veteran of the dental industry with over 18 years of experience launching innovative technologies and fortifying brand positioning for companies in the oral care space. Nicholas Wood, Board Chairman stated “Diana brings to Sesame strong executive leadership, excellent understanding of the dental space and an impressive success track record.” A graduate of Arizona State University, Diana holds an MA in Sociology as well as an MBA in Management and Marketing. Diana has served as consultant to Sesame for the past nine years, stepping into a strategic operational role in July of 2009.
Sesame Communications has championed online patient connection systems in dentistry and orthodontics for the past eleven years. With the emergence of the digital age traditional practice marketing and communication methods have been rendered ineffective, fueling significant growth in this category. “A modern practice needs to connect with patients where they are—online 24/7. Sesame will fortify its leadership position in the market by providing the first completely integrated solution which delivers websites, patient portals, online collaboration, patient reminders, social media management and online marketing all with a click of a mouse and the convenience of a single provider” stated Diana P. Friedman, CEO. During her tenure, she will champion a comprehensive technology re-engineering as well as the introduction of significant innovative service offerings currently in development.
Sesame will retain its commitment to education and, in September, will launch a national Speakers Bureau uniquely qualified to deliver research-based lectures on digital communication technology and the management and marketing of a dental and orthodontic practice in the digital age.
Frith Maier, a recognized industry speaker and the Founder of Sesame will remain on the company’s Board of Directors.
