SEO Specialist

Reports to: Search Marketing Operations Manager

We are seeking an SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate their SEO expertise managing local websites for dental and orthodontic practices. Experience with CSS, PHP and HTML required. Along with creating and managing SEO campaigns, you have the passion and drive for keeping up with the latest best practices and are always searching for how to improve results as well as workflow processes. You will be working closely with social media specialists to support your SEO efforts and must demonstrate professional skills in both written and verbal communications.

Here are some of the Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Account executive management of our Sesame SEO offering
  • Provide online marketing expertise
  • Submit member sites to directories and major search engines
  • Edit CSS, PHP and HTML for member websites
  • Creating and maintaining Sesame SEO campaign promotions
  • Create campaigns using current SEO best practices
  • Create custom graphics to reflect practice web site

Qualified candidates will have the following:

Social Media Specialist

Reports to: Search Marketing Operations Manager

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to develop and maintain member’s online social networking and digital media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, blog, YouTube, etc.) to help achieve marketing goals. This position creates content for social media outlets and digital media distribution. In addition, the Specialist monitors and manages content including blogs, contests, videos, and status updates, and provides incredible customer service.  This role facilitates discussions or responds to inquiries for all of Sesame’s Search products and services and analyzes and reports usage statistics to communicate value proposition to member.  The Specialist provides feedback and analysis to management and other business functions, such as Member Services, Product Development, and Sales.

  • Account management and retention of our Sesame Social and Sesame Sweepstakes offerings
  • Provide online marketing expertise to internal and external customers
  • Provide member support for all Sesame’s Search Products

Senior Software Engineer

Reports to: Director of Development

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, documentation, and testing of new and existing software systems and/or applications.  This position also serves as technical expert on development projects, participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.   This includes writing technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.  The Senior Software Engineer analyzes code to find causes of errors and revises programs as needed.  This position participates/leads in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.  The Senior Software Engineer is also responsible for maintaining best coding practices and mentoring more junior developers in those practices.

HR Assistant

Reports to: Director of Human Resources

We are seeking an HR Assistant to provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources on all personnel matters and assist with payroll processing.

Here are some of the Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Performs semi-monthly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now
  • Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees.
  • Assists in administration of compensation program; helps to monitor performance appraisal process.
  • Participates in benefits administration to include enrollment processing, change reporting, and billing administration.
  • Participates in recruitment efforts for all levels and helps to coordinate the use of temporary employees and freelance contractors.
  • Conducts new employee orientations; conducts reference checks.
  • Maintains records, reports, and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures.
  • Assists in exit interview process.
  • Assists in organizational training and development efforts.
  • Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed.
  • Helps to maintain company organization charts and employee directory.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, two to three years’ experience in the HR field, OR any similar combination of education and experience.
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources is required.
  • Prior experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll/HRIS application required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

Associate Product Manager

Reports to: Director of Product/Program Management

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to guide cross-functional teams charged with creating, developing, and deploying new SaaS-based products and feature enhancements to existing products. This encompasses increasing the profitability of existing products or developing new products for the company that will increase market share, top line revenues, and margins. The Associate Product Manager will build products from existing ideas and help develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers, prospects, and competitors.

Senior Business Analyst

Reports to: Director of Product/Program Management

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to build and manage a suite of robust analytics that lays the foundation for a data-driven enterprise. This role will create the framework, processes, and supporting structures that will allow the Product Management team to deliver both macro-level insights for the organization and micro-level insights for its members. The Sr. Business Analyst will drive the creation of business cases and lead projects that develop or enhance products or service delivery systems.  This role will also lead business process modeling and project research (systems, vendors, etc.) efforts, acting as a consultant to business units and reviewing all documents on project teams.  

Here are some of the Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Quickly understand the business issues and data challenges of the organization and the industry.
  • Drive tangible business insights and recommendations through quantitative analysis on a broad range of industry-level and member-level issues, with the goal of improving organizational efficiency and product effectiveness.  
  • Deliver accurate and impactful analysis based on solid understanding of data sources and business needs, including robust economic, financial, and statistical analysis
  • Define complex SQL and other data extraction schemes to gather and filter needed data
  • Clearly and concisely present strategic and tactical recommendations; develop compelling presentations for both internal and external customers 
  • Develop analytical models to estimate the impact of different scenarios, assisting in the business decision making process
  • Be aware of micro- and macro-economic trends and their impact on the business
  • Fulfill ad-hoc requests for related data and analysis

  • Participates in root cause analysis in order to recommend product or system enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for both the business and technology units.
  • Acts as project manager on assigned projects.
  • Helps define requirements for current and future products or systems by conducting market research, gathering customer feedback, assessing competitive intelligence, and assimilating internal feedback.
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition, market, and customer needs.

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • BS in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience (or 2 years and an MBA) in a marketing, analyst, or related role.
  • Experience in a front-line business function acting as a user/customer of Business Analyst work product preferred.
  • Requires excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and negotiation skills.
  • Deep understanding of the practical application of data relationships from various and differing systems (both technical and process).

QA/Associate SDET

Reports to: Director of Development

We need an energetic QA/Associate SDET to support all testing efforts as well as help create a comprehensive set of automated tests for each of our applications, which include 2 web apps, 1 email sending platform and a high-traffic data transfer API.  Tools will include Selenium, Web Driver and home-grown tools.  This position will also assemble data sets for use by the test team.  Focus will be on repeatable, automated test coverage in an open-source environment, as well as overseeing the automation of tests in Jenkins.

  • Functional testing of web applications
  • System-wide integration testing
  • Assembling and maintaining test data sets
  • Assisting in producing new builds for test and production

Qualified candidates will have the following*:

  • Min of 2 years testing software in mid-size to large production setting
  • Java coding experience a huge plus
  • Scripting ability a must (Perl, Ruby,bash, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies
  • Experience with automating test a plus.

Staff Accountant

Reports to: Controller

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to prepare and assist with preparation of standard and specialized financial reports (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, monthly closing reports) according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or other regulatory requirements. This position compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries into accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions. In addition, the Staff Accountant maintains and coordinates accounting and accounting control procedures.

Here are some of the Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Prepare monthly commissions payable
  • Prepare local, city and state sales, excise, and B&O tax returns
  • Prepare and maintain revenue recognition schedules and month end accruals
  • Maintain fixed assets and related accounting treatment
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations within areas of responsibility
  • Assist the Controller with journal entries and preparation of financial statements at month end
  • Prepare various financial analysis reports as needed

Qualified candidates will have the following*:

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Understands generally accepted accounting principles, controls and practices
  • Significant successful experience with Great Plains, and/or other large accounting databases

Technical Support Representative (Member Services)

Reports to: Director of Member Services

We are seeking a Technical Support Representative to join our Member Services team to provide the highest level of Member support, providing trouble shooting and problem solving for all aspects of the system. This position also administers domain registration, website, and email hosting for our Members.

Here are some of the Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Respond to Member calls and cases requiring technical assistance; connect to Member’s computers via Go to Assist as necessary as well as answer incoming live chat requests
  • Resolve and follow up on all customer issues relating to OS, DS, SI, and Sesame Voice™
  • Support and troubleshoot email and Internet applications
  • Assist in managing over 5000 domains
  • Update DNS records for multiple domains
  • Publish temporary websites
  • Adjust MX records
  • Log customer calls and issues into SalesForce and JIRA
  • Monitor Sesame and Sesame Interactive upload Logs and notify Members when they have not been uploading
  • Provide remote installations
  • Assist  the IT Team as needed
  • Teach webinars as needed
  • Work with Product Development Team to help devise and test updates to the Patient Login system
  • Work closely with the Web Team, assisting in any domain-related issues

Qualified candidates will have the following*:

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical support capacity
  • A+, Network+ or MCP certification preferred.

Member Services Trainer

Reports to: Director of Member Services

We are seeking a Member Services Trainer to conduct remote training courses of Sesame Communications technologies with a high focus on Member satisfaction.

Here are some of the Key Responsibilities for this position:

  • Conducts technical training courses for Members in the use of complex situations for multiple products
  • Works with other teams to ensure that course material reflects current product features
  • Follows up to determine applicability of course material
  • Perform proactive Member coaching calls reviewing their entire suite of Sesame Services

Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred and/or 2 - 5 years of related experience
  • Experience working within a dental/orthodontic office preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to lead Members through the training process
  • Experience with software application installation or packaging technologies

Freelance Contract Web Designer

Reports to: Design Manager

We are actively seeking Freelance Contract Web Designers to determine and develop the look and feel for websites, and be responsible for site navigation design and visual execution.  This freelancer is highly skilled working within Photoshop and has a working knowledge of Illustrator.  The Web Designer has an understanding of HTML and is responsible for outputting their files into web proofs. The Web Designer is not only responsible for designing their sites within budget, but ensuring that their designs can be built within budget. For this reason, they must possess a working knowledge of the scope and limitations of CSS.

The Web Designer has a variety of responsibilities – here are some of them:

  • Create high fidelity design concepts of member sites
  • Works efficiently to meet or exceed design metrics for time and design standards
  • Works closely with Producers to effectively complete projects within established team metrics
  • Works with members of Development Team to ensure features added during the design stage can be implemented within time constraints
  • Maintains well-organized design assets to ensure Developers can quickly convert designs
  • Code simple HTML/CSS to display concepts online
  • Review completed design spec for completeness and reports any inconsistency to Design Producer

We are looking for freelance candidates with the following qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience designing websites.
  • AA in graphics design or other related field, or equivalent proven work experience
  • Highly skilled in Photoshop and Illustrator; Flash/JQuery knowledge a plus
  • Ability to create simple HTML and CSS templates to display concepts online
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on-time
  • Extremely organized and efficient
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS standards necessary to create web-friendly designs
  • Capable of using FTP program to transfer files
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
